The most important task after getting the ring is finding the right venue. To do this you have to ask yourself are you a traditional couple with the black tux, white dress, and church venue?
Or are you the “step out of bounds” couple with the bright color dress, James Bond tux, and the vintage hall? Both wedding styles are beautiful and make the most of their historic value in different ways.
How to choose the right venue and overall style for your wedding!
If you’re more traditional and you hear church bells when you think of your wedding The Monastery is the venue for you. A unique setting that can house both a ceremony and reception. Their courtyard is perfect for invaluable photos and even those who opt for an outdoor ceremony. They have also resurrected the historic “Golden Wedding Champagne” for their guests. In fact, couples who book with the venue receive free personalized champagne flutes. What better way to help commemorate your big day?
On the flip side is the vintage Starr Gennett Building, rich in jazz music history. They keep the music alive through live concerts but also through music education sessions. If you’re in the area you can see The Walk of Fame recurring every September and even their tributes to Shakespeare throughout July. Ultimately this open venue is a distinctive choice and the ideal venue for those dreaming of a vintage venue with a bit of nature. It is located in a public park right by a river for lovely photos. With its already perfect location, you can decorate and make it yours!

First off, congratulations. How exciting!? With the New Year right around the corner, getting together a plan of action is the key to staying organized and on top of your wedding planning. We’ve taken some time to lay out five key points to get you in the planning mood.
This past weekend, Picture Perfect Photobooth Rentals was invited back to Top of the Market Banquet Center for Sarah and Chad’s wedding reception. I love bringing the photo booth here! Portable photo booths can have their issues, and from start to finish, Top of the Market makes it a breeze! The owners transformed this retired warehouse, located close to Downtown Dayton, into a gorgeous event center for weddings, birthday parties, and so much more. I have no trouble getting the photo booth cart up the ramps or through the doors, as the venue is easily accessible on both sides of the building.
This weekend Picture Perfect was invited back to Boonshoft Museum of Discovery, located right here, in Dayton, Ohio. If you want an out-of- the-world experience, this place is what you’re looking for! The beautiful bride and groom were wed under the stars of Boonshoft’s Planetarium. Their guests later convened for dinner with a projection of our Earth as the room’s centerpiece. With a venue as stellar as this, it’s only fitting to bring an equally amazing photo booth! Good thing they called Picture Perfect. The photo booth was up and running in no time! They had requested Picture Perfect’s open air booth style with a silver backdrop. I stood back to marvel at how well our booth meshed with the layout and look of the room.
