In a friendly town, right beside the beautiful Ohio River, sits a magnificent event center that caters to all. Weddings of any size are performed there and it is apparent that The Lawrenceburg Event Center has a mission to relieve their guests of the the stress and anxiety of planning a wedding or special occasion and to make sure that everything goes according to plan for the big day.
The Lawrenceburg Event Center is located on the state lines of Kentucky and Indiana in a quiant town in which everyone seems to know each other. When we arrived with our Big Black Photo-booth, we met Emily, the coordinator. Emily showed us where we would be setting up for Justin and Crystal’s wedding (in an L-shaped lobby by the first banquet hall) and explained to us that “…everything is inside; no matter if it is 100 degrees like today, or raining, there is never an issue.”
Canyon Run Ranch is a beautiful, vast farm with an 1850’s barn and 153 acres of placidity- exactly what the Hemler’s had in mind for their wedding.
Both the ceremony and reception were held at the ranch. There is a private residence reserved for the bridal party and when they are ready, they are taken by golf cart to the ceremony. After the I Do’s, several buggies escort the guests down to the barn for the reception.
Mt. Echo Pavilion is one of the finest venues of the Cincinnati Park System. Buckeye and Sycamore trees encompass an Italianate-style pavilion with a diverse arrangement of flowers and a stylish, open design, providing a magnificent view of the Cincinnati Skyline.
Jeremy and Sam had one of the most clever and fun ideas for their big day: a safari themed wedding at the The Cincinnati Zoo .
An aesthetic two-story patio with a walkway, which wrapped around the building, provided an excellent view of the park. Stringed lights hung loosely from the ceiling creating a tastful, romantic tone for the night. You could see animals from the reception area or you could go explore and get a closer look!
We brought our Big Black Photobooth to a gorgeous wedding on a golf course, and not just any golf course, a course created by Arnold Palmer himself. The center is surrounded by beautiful, vast golf courses and trees, with ponds and lakes scattered across the grounds. Arnold Pamler designed the 18-hole private golf course, which guests can use too! After golfing the course, Palmer said, “I don’t think you will ever see three holes better than the last three here.” The Oasis Golf Club and Conference Center has a little something for everyone; professionals like Arnold or the occasional novice golfer.
TheLED photo booth has been described by many guests as a giant, squishy igloo. This awesome photo booth has an arrangement of lights inside the walls of the booth with several color patterns to choose from. For Madison and Morgan’s grad party, every light in the booth was a different shade, flashing on and off, lighting up the entire back corner of the room in a grandiose display of color. Custom graduation themed photo booth props were added to the surplus of party props supplied with the photo booth rental to compliment the day’s celebration.
With barn weddings becoming increasingly popular, people are wondering if achieving the charming, rustic style requires sacrificing an element of elegance (dealing with heat, dust etc). Well, I visited a wedding barn over the weekend that proved to me it is possible to achieve both. It was a scenic drive to JLH Wedding Barn, with acres of farmland, crops and animals, (I passed a pasture of cows on my way down the gravel driveway to the barn).
