The History of Warren City
The original settlement Beebe’s Corner was founded in 1830, which later became the city of Warren not before 1837. The city name is named after War of 1812’s frontier cleric, Mr. Abel Warren. However, one other source has claimed that city name was named after General Joseph Warren. In 1893, it was incorporated as village and in 1957; it was incorporated as a city.
